Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global growth strategy for AVESTAN, inclusive of brand development, product development, and retail expansion
  • Act as the brand guardian across all facets of brand and business management, including the overarching brand strategy, social channels, product campaigns, product launches, and key moments
  • Develop and own all brand foundational elements (target consumer, positioning, tone messaging, and beyond)
  • Maintain, secure, and develop an ownable tone of voice for the brand, and ensure consistency across all AVESTAN touchpoints
  • Lead the go-to-market management of brand launches across markets, ensuring sales targets are achieved while remaining on brand equity
  • Protect and build upon AVESTAN’s unique brand message and aesthetic through well-crafted and tightly-held values, principles, and design guidelines
  • Lead storytelling strategy across earned, owned, and paid channels working in close partnership with digital, social, comms, and commercial teams
  • Craft launch narratives, key messages, and compelling angles to engage media, influencers, and creators
  • Responsible for the entrepreneurial facet of the Brand, identifying sales opportunities and helping to drive them through in the business
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Scientific, Digital, Retail, Supply Chain and Finance to execute tactics that will continue to grow brand equity and identify key areas of opportunity for DECIEM globally
  • Work with the Commercial team and support the creation of sell-in material, pitch decks, and beyond. Partner closely in planning and distribution discussions

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in Brand Direction, Creative Direction, or Marketing. 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in leading a highly conceptual brand or project
  • Significant leadership and vision setting experience
  • Experience building and executing effective brand strategies with proven business growth impact
  • Leads collaboratively by partnering with others internally and externally to engage multiple stakeholders, foster alignment, gain consensus and influence outcomes
  • An obsession with experimental marketing and brand equity building
  • A love of the earth, travel, design, culture, and unique experiences
