Responsibilities
- You'll visit the same events – meetups, angel nights, pitch events – start conversations, build intrigue, and collect contact info.
- Step 1: Find and attend events using tools such as Lu.ma, Meetup, Eventbrite
- Step 2: Strike up conversations (see how to introduce the company below)
- Step 3: Ask questions, people love talking about themselves
- Step 4: Invite prospects to join our investor “first look shortlist”; collect their business card or contact info
- Step 5: Offer to make connections
- Step 6: Ask for referrals and invitations to other public or private events
- Step 7: Pass on leads to our team to qualify and engage
