Job Description

Lead Colorado College Athletics communications across multiple sports and media channels to manage game coverage, branding, and digital content.

  • Own athletics communications for multiple sports, including game stories, stats, and promotions.
  • Coordinate and lead social media strategy for the department across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
  • Maintain a comprehensive web and digital presence, including design, video editing, and content archiving.
  • Collaborate on branding and content creation across graphics, photography, and video for digital and social platforms.
  • Staff Division III events and some Division I events, including live stats, streaming, and intern supervision.
  • Coordinate video and photography for varsity programs and manage freelance photographers.
  • Distribute news, pitch and place stories with media outlets, and advise coaches and athletes on media interactions.
  • Nominate athletes for awards and compile statistics for records and promotional materials.
  • Maintain records books and print materials; design game programs and posters for promotions.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and safety, and stay current with new technologies in the field.
