Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Understand key material topics relevant to clients and stay informed on ESG, sustainability and social impact trends
  • Stay up to date on trends and best practices in ESG and sustainability, sharing insights with the team
  • Use research and media tools to track relevant issues, monitor conversations and proactively share insights with teams
  • Conduct research, synthesize findings and provide actionable insights to inform client strategy and communications
  • Contribute to developing and executing strategic, integrated communications plans for clients with clear, well-supported recommendations
  • Develop client-ready materials such as reports, briefs, media materials, social content, presentations and thought leadership content
  • Own assigned tasks from kickoff through completion with clear documentation and follow-through
  • Support operational excellence by keeping trackers, timelines and shared documents accurate and up to date, flagging risks, blockers or resourcing needs early
  • Assist with day-to-day client relationship and account management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting with corporate/purpose/CSR clients a plus
  • Experience in client and account management
  • Knowledge of ESG, sustainability and/or social impact strategy and communications
  • Familiar with best practices in ESG, sustainability and social impact communication
  • Practical understanding of integrated marketing communications
  • Skilled in creating and activating communications programs
  • Strong writing, organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex ESG and P&I topics into clear, concise, client-ready materials
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of deliverables, apply feedback thoughtfully and reduce rework over time
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
