Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute visually compelling designs for healthcare clients across physicians, patients, and payers.
  • Collaborate with copy supervisors, account managers, and medical strategists to develop integrated campaigns across print, digital, video, and social.
  • Ensure visuals are scientifically accurate, regulatory-compliant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Present work to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating the strategic rationale behind design choices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to new business pitches with compelling visual proposals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare advertising and design.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact quality or delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of art direction/design experience in a healthcare advertising agency.
  • Portfolio showing diverse healthcare visual design with strong concept thinking and art direction.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into visually engaging communications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to articulate design rationale and provide feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats is a plus.
