Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partners with Animal Health teams to increase the business reputation with key external audiences
  • Supports communications about key innovation milestones and/or engagements with key external and internal audiences across the US Animal Health organization, specifically within the US commercial teams
  • Includes developing communication plan with compelling messaging platforms that will resonate with key audiences
  • Builds key relationships with internal cross-functional partners (including Global colleagues) to create and implement thoughtful, efficient, and impactful internal and external communications plans that engage the team with our purpose, delivering results

Requirements

  • Communications degree (or related field) or higher education exposure required
  • Five-plus (5+) years of experience in corporate communications-related role (public relations, internal communications, communications agency, customer communications)
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Ideator with intrinsic motivation to deliver.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to take in knowledge, apply it to current communications programs.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills are a must.
  • Must work well in teams and invest in developing collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with and advise executives along with the ability to build relationships at all levels, collaborate and influence for results
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
