Job Summary

Drive wealth-management growth across a CPA firm network by partnering with Affiliate Development and Territory Directors, translating strategic plans into actionable growth initiatives, and coaching firms on discovery, prioritization, and client-prospect opportunities.

  • Plan-to-perform: align firm growth targets with education and governance, track progress, and ensure accountability.
  • Coaching and execution: promote best practices, lead discovery, and present practical solutions to firms for client introductions and opportunities.
  • CRM and governance: monitor pipeline, report results to leadership, and deliver ongoing education to CPA teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with firm leadership and Financial Planning Consultants to execute wealth-management growth plans and retention strategies.
  • Partner with CPA firms to perform SWOT assessments, set goals, and define priorities and growth actions.
  • Guide discovery, goal-setting, best-practice coaching, and presenting solutions to firms to grow their wealth-management business.
  • Drive firm growth by increasing producers and penetration, and achieve net-new asset targets for assigned firms.
  • Communicate wealth-management strategies to CPA firm clients for successful introductions.
  • Host regular educational sessions with partners to inform CPAs on wealth management topics.
  • Track and report prospect and pipeline activity in CRM to leadership and firm stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular progress updates with firm leaders to ensure accountability and results.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years related financial services/planning experience and/or training.
  • Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, CRM Database, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet usage.
  • Build strong relationships across all teams by fostering collaboration.
  • Act as a partner in connecting ideas and opportunities with internal team members and subject matter experts.
  • Responsible for project management and integrating resources to ensure timely deliverables to CPA firms.
  • Willingness to travel to CPA firms based on segmentation and engagement model (20% travel).

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • Series 65 and state insurance license, preferred.
  • CFP preferred.
