Job Summary

Own the delivery and design of marketing courses within a university program, aligning syllabi to defined learning outcomes and administering courses in the LMS while handling ad hoc duties.

  • Course Design & Delivery: own syllabus alignment, outcome assurance, and multi-media instruction in marketing topics.
  • LMS Administration: manage course setup, delivery, and ongoing course administration.
  • Teaching Coverage: support additional duties as assigned and adapt to varied subject areas as needed.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Instructional Course Design and Administration
- Construct course syllabus adhering to College of Business assurance of learning outcomes and departmental standards.
- Administer course through Colorado State University’s learning management system.
- Instructional Course Delivery
- Deliver instructional course material via multi-media teaching techniques in relevant subject areas in prescribed delivery format.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Applicable Master’s, J.D., or Ph.D. that is aligned with one or more of the following subject areas: marketing, marketing analytics, pricing, professional selling, marketing communications, sales management, sports marketing, digital marketing, international marketing, retailing, product design, marketing research, services marketing, sustainability, and music business/marketing.
- Or current doctoral candidate in a field of study that is aligned with one or more of the above-mentioned subject areas.
- Or applicable undergraduate degree with five years or more professional work experience aligned with one or more of the above-mentioned subject areas.
- Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: marketing, marketing analytics, pricing, professional selling, marketing communications, sales management, sports marketing, digital marketing, international marketing, retailing, product design, marketing research, services marketing, sustainability, and music business/marketing.
- Legal authorization to work in the US. The College of Business will not provide visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
- Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires).
