Tri-County Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric provider based in Azle, Texas. Since 1939, we have provided safe and reliable energy to our member-owners across North Texas. We are one of the largest electric cooperatives in Texas.Electric cooperatives were created to serve rural areas that were too isolated for major power companies to reach. Today, many cooperatives serve growing populations with increased residential, commercial, and industrial consumers.
