About Liftoff
LiftOff provides major component exchange services for wind turbines. We focus on minimizing turbine downtime, enhancing performance. We have a highly-experienced team that is committed to getting the job done.Our up-tower lifting technology uses compact and fully-electric cranes that can be easily mobilized to any site using standard shipping containers. We can work in higher wind speeds compared to conventional cranes and only need a small footprint at the base of the tower. We offer high-end solutions to exchange major components in offshore wind turbines, in both floating and bottom-fixed environments. Using our technology, major components can be safely exchanged offshore using a minimal amount of equipment, and the requirement to tow floating wind turbines to port is completely avoided.
