Kovacs

KOVACS is board reporting infrastructure for independent mortgage lenders, servicers, and title agencies.Every year, compliance officers do work their board will never fully see. Access reviewed. Vendors vetted. Incidents caught and contained before they became disclosures. The program ran. Nothing broke. And when the board finally asks for the annual report 16 CFR 314.4(i) requires, that work has to be reconstructed by hand, under pressure, from a year of scattered tickets and spreadsheets. That gap between what compliance teams do and what a board can actually see is not a technical problem. It is a documentation problem. It is where examiners ask harder questions, where Freddie Mac counterparty reviews stall, and where a real security program looks weaker on paper than it actually is; not because the work was poor, but because the proof was never built.KOVACS closes that gap. Metrics from the security tools already in place are ingested, normalized, and translated into a written report mapped directly to what 16 CFR 314.4(i) requires, ready for the Qualified Individual to present to the board. No manual reconstruction. No scramble each year the report comes due.Serious compliance teams use KOVACS to make the invisible work provable; so they walk into every board meeting, every counterparty review, with evidence, not explanations.
