ARTS 14C

ARTS 14C is a multidisciplinary arts incubator creating opportunities for artists and opening access to extraordinary art and creative experiences.Based in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District, our 125,000-square-foot creative campus is a place where artists live, work, create, exhibit and perform — and where audiences can encounter art and artists in ways that are immediate, unexpected and accessible. We believe a thriving arts ecosystem depends equally on artists having the resources and opportunities to build sustainable creative lives, and on audiences having meaningful opportunities to experience, discover and engage with their work.Through artist residencies, exhibitions, performances, professional development, mentorship, public programs and cultural partnerships, ARTS 14C works on both sides of that equation. Our programs include the ARTS 14C Residency, Gallery 14C, Art Fair 14C and Stage 14C, alongside public art initiatives and artist-led programming that take art beyond traditional cultural spaces and bring it into the wider community. At the heart of ARTS 14C is a belief that art is strongest when the distance between artist and audience is smaller. When artists have the opportunity to create and audiences have the opportunity to participate, both benefit — and so do the communities they share. From helping an individual artist take the next step in their career to creating ambitious cultural experiences for thousands of people, ARTS 14C is building a more connected, accessible and sustainable arts ecosystem.Powering Artists.
