Job Summary

Own and coordinate the charity's design and print output, overseeing briefs, schedules and budgets while liaising with designers, suppliers and partners to drive effective campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

support the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of design and print activities across the charity
help create and coordinate printed materials, support direct mail campaigns and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and in line with our brand guidelines
One day you could be briefing a designer on an event poster, the next you could be organising a direct mail appeal, coordinating print orders, or supporting the refurbishment of a new charity shop.
play an important role in helping us raise awareness of our services, engage supporters and generate the income needed to support local children and families

Requirements

Have a qualification or experience in marketing or a related field
Be a strong copywriter with excellent proofreading and editing skills
Be confident communicating with colleagues, suppliers and external partners
Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Be comfortable working independently whilst also contributing positively to a team
Have an eye for good design and an interest in producing high-quality marketing materials

Hope House Children's Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. We have two hospices - Hope House in Oswestry and Tŷ Gobaith in Conwy.Our dedicated teams support families from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of their child and beyond. We are here for every mum, dad, brother and sister.At the end of a child's life we are here to make sure their final moments are as comfortable as possible and that their family says goodbye in their own way and in their own time.We are also here to comfort families and offer bereavement support, whether we've cared for their child during their illness, or they have turned to us after their child's sudden death through any circumstances at all.
