Job Summary

Lead marketing across a family of museums, setting priorities, developing a high-performing team, and driving business outcomes through venue marketing, exhibitions, partnerships and brand development.

  • Own brand and venue marketing strategy across the V&A family to engage audiences today and in the future.
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams with a culture of outcomes and collaboration with Insight, Digital, CRM and Commercial.
  • Shape partnerships, agencies and measurement to deliver commercial results while balancing cultural goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing across five museums, overseeing venue marketing, exhibitions, partnerships, agencies and brand development.
  • Lead Brand & Venue Marketing across the V&A family of museums, helping shape how one of the world's most recognised cultural brands engages audiences today and for years to come.
  • Establish clear priorities, strengthen planning, improve measurement and create a culture where marketing owns business outcomes, not simply campaign delivery.
  • Inherit a talented team, but more importantly you\'ll help shape what that team becomes.
  • Oversee venue marketing, exhibitions, partnerships, agencies and brand development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Audience Insight, Customer Growth, Digital, CRM and Commercial.

Requirements

  • Experience driving ticket sales or visitor growth in consumer-facing organisations such as visitor attractions, entertainment, retail, hospitality, travel or sport.
  • Built high-performing marketing teams, delivered commercial results and enjoy creating clarity where others see complexity.
  • Able to think strategically as well as tactically.
  • Uses insight to make decisions.
  • Measures success through outcomes.
  • Balances commercial and cultural goals.
  • Coaches team to build capability.
  • Enjoys building rather than maintaining.
