Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social media management and delivery: Bringing our social media strategy to life through the day-to-day management of WRAP's corporate channels (LinkedIn and X) and paid social activity. You'll also build thriving online communities, help grow the personal brands of our people, and develop relationships with partners, stakeholders and influencers to identify opportunities to collaborate and extend our reach.
  • Content creation: Content creation is at the heart of this role – whether that's ideating, planning, filming, presenting or editing. You'll love getting out from behind the desk to capture authentic, social-first content, whether that's filming with colleagues, interviewing partners, covering events or visiting projects. You'll know how to turn complex topics into compelling, platform-native stories that people genuinely want to watch, read and share.
  • Social media trends: By your very nature, you'll have your finger firmly on the pulse of social media trends and developments. You'll know what great content looks like and where opportunities lie, understand what drives engagement, think critically about where WRAP can add value to conversations, and be curious enough to keep testing, learning and experimenting.
  • Improving performance: Using audience insight, empathy, performance data and channel analytics, you'll continually refine content for our diverse audiences, optimise performance and make recommendations that help shape the ongoing evolution of WRAP's social media approach.

Requirements

  • Are a people person who is positive, curious, confident, proactive and creative, with a willingness to experiment, learn and continuously improve.
  • Are able to build and maintain relationships both internally – working across multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams – and with partners, influencers and stakeholders.
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, balance planned and reactive content and deliver to deadlines.
  • Are based within a reasonable travelling distance of WRAP's London office and are happy travelling regularly for content creation.

WRAP

Our vision is a world transformed, in which Circular Living is commonplace. Where the systems that provide our everyday goods contribute to the world's prosperity and sustainability instead of reducing it. We are a global environmental action NGO transforming our broken product and food systems. Our mission is to embed Circular Living — for the benefit of climate, nature and people. For over 20 years we’ve delivered programs that reduce CO2 and waste, restore nature and change people’s behaviour. We catalyse action from policy makers, businesses, NGOs — and in a world of mounting challenges, make Circular Living a beacon of change. Our mission is to embed Circular Living in every boardroom and every home. https://www.wrap.ngo/about-us/our-plan Community guidelines: http://www.wrap.ngo/content/community-guidelines
