Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to foster community interaction.
  • Analyse performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in social media and digital marketing to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Maintain a positive organisational image through proactive public relations efforts online.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices in digital environments.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data insights and optimise campaign performance.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
