Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage Whitehall Garden Centre's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Plan, schedule and publish engaging content on a regular basis
- Create, film and edit content for TikTok and Instagram Reels, using a mobile phone and appropriate editing software
- Keep up to date with current social media trends and identify opportunities for Whitehall to participate in relevant trends
- Develop creative ideas for videos, photographs, competitions, promotions and campaigns
- Attend events and activities at the Garden Centre to capture relevant social media content
- Manage tagged user-generated content (UGC), including obtaining appropriate permissions and incorporating content into the posting schedule
- Work with the Director of Operations on partnerships, collaborations, competitions and giveaway ideas
- Respond to customer comments and queries received through social media in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor social media performance and provide regular reports and feedback on engagement and growth
Requirements
- Has a genuine passion for social media, content creation and graphic design
- Has experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
- Is confident using social media scheduling and management tools
- Has experience using Meta Business Suite
- Has knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar video editing software
- Has experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Has a good eye for photography, video and visual design
- Is comfortable working at a fast pace and reacting quickly to current trends
- Is highly self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to get involved and hit the ground running
