Job Summary

Own and operate social content and community relationships across multiple platforms, with a strong eye on PR and customer service touchpoints.

  • Content & Community Ownership: Create and publish across Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, while engaging followers and monitoring results.
  • Campaign & Relationship Management: Align campaigns with branding, nurture influencers and media contacts, and respond in a professional voice to comments and inquiries.
  • Measurement & Creative Output: Track trends, produce on-brand graphics, and report performance to leadership to guide optimised outreach.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, curate, and execute compelling social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Manage daily social media activities including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics to optimise performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to align social media campaigns with overall branding and promotional strategies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with online communities, influencers, and media outlets to enhance public relations efforts.
  • Track industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure our organisation remains innovative and competitive in digital outreach.
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner that reflects the organisation’s voice.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media metrics and campaign effectiveness for review by senior management.
  • Produce graphics using platforms such as canva / adobe photoshop to use on social platforms and on website.
  • Answer calls and emails from customers providing exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Process orders in a efficient and precise manner.

Requirements

  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • An understanding of public relations principles and best practices in online communication.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools is desirable.
  • Ability to analyse data insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • A proactive approach with organisational skills that ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Preferred

  • The role would be ideally suited to a college / university leaver with an interest in the field.
