Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing social media content for several brands
  • Developing monthly content ideas and social calendars
  • Filming short-form video, product demonstrations and behind-the-scenes content
  • Appearing on camera where the content requires it
  • Editing Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories and other social-first videos
  • Designing Instagram carousels and social graphics
  • Writing captions, posts and straightforward marketing copy
  • Scheduling and publishing content
  • Supporting comments, messages and community activity
  • Helping coordinate gifted products, creators and user-generated content

Requirements

  • You should be: * Comfortable filming content yourself * Willing and confident enough to appear on camera regularly where needed * Able to edit engaging short-form video * Able to create clean, well-presented social graphics and carousels * Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn * A clear and confident writer * Visually aware, with a good eye for presentation * Organised enough to manage several brands and deadlines * Comfortable learning new tools and systems * Willing to ask questions, then take responsibility * Confident speaking with clients and contributors * Happy working in a small business where everyone gets stuck in * Interested in helping build the role rather than simply inheriting one We are not looking for someone who waits to be told every step. We are looking for someone with judgement, curiosity, common sense and gumption.
  • Experience: We expect the right person will have around one to three years of relevant experience. However, the quality of your work matters more than the exact number of years. You should be able to show examples of content you have personally planned, filmed, written, designed or edited. Experience with some of the following would be useful: * Adobe Creative Cloud * Canva * CapCut or similar video-editing software * Meta Business Suite * TikTok * WordPress or WooCommerce * Email marketing platforms * Basic photography * Consumer products, beauty or skincare * B2B or manufacturing marketing * Working in a creative or digital agency Packaging or wider graphic design experience would be useful, but it is not essential. A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel independently to client sites are highly desirable, but not essential.
