ECHO is looking for a freelance Shoot Runner / Production Assistant to support street interview shoots in London.

We create street interview ad creatives for some of the fastest-growing consumer brands across food, drink, wellness, lifestyle and apps. Our shoots involve speaking to members of the public, capturing natural reactions, product demos and short-form social content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and paid social campaigns.

This is a freelance / part-time role for someone who is confident, organised, reliable and comfortable working in busy public locations.

You’ll support on shoot days by helping keep the production smooth, fast and organised.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping stop and speak to members of the public
• Supporting the presenter and camera operator during shoots
• Helping manage participant release forms / waivers
• Holding products, props, bags and basic shoot materials
• Keeping track of strong participants and good reactions
• Helping reset shots and keep the shoot moving
• Making sure products, phones, props or brand assets are ready when needed
• Supporting basic shoot logistics on the day
• Helping the team capture strong, usable moments for short-form content

You do not need to be an experienced filmmaker, but you do need to be switched on, punctual and confident approaching people in public.

• Available for ad-hoc weekday and/or weekend shoots

Pay:

£70–£150 per shoot depending on shoot length and responsibilities, plus agreed travel expenses.

Most shoots will be around 2–4 hours.

If the first few shoots go well, this can become regular paid work across future ECHO campaigns.
