Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, write and optimise content for digital journeys, balancing customer needs, SEO opportunity, regulatory requirements and commercial goals.
  • Use search insight, customer language and performance data to shape content strategies, page briefs and optimisation recommendations.
  • Support our GEO ambitions by creating structured, authoritative and useful content that can perform across emerging AI-assisted discovery experiences.
  • Publish and maintain content in the CMS with strong attention to accessibility, quality, governance and version control.
  • Collaborate with UX, product, analytics, SEO, compliance, marketing and development teams to improve journeys end to end.
  • Create content patterns, standards and guidance that help teams deliver clear, consistent and high-performing content at pace.

Requirements

  • Strong SEO experience, with practical knowledge of using search insight to shape content, improve findability and support organic growth.
  • Excellent content design skills, including plain English writing, information architecture, accessibility and user-centred decision making.
  • Confident CMS publishing experience, including creating, editing, QAing and maintaining live content within a governed digital environment.
  • The ability to turn data, customer needs and stakeholder input into clear content recommendations and practical improvements.

Preferred

  • Experience working in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment where accuracy, compliance and clarity are critical.
  • Experience with structured content, schema, content modelling or GEO principles for AI-assisted discovery.
  • Experience using SEO platforms, analytics tools, content audit methods, accessibility tools or experimentation frameworks.
  • Confidence coaching others, setting content standards or helping teams adopt clearer, more consistent ways of working.
