Job Description

Own multi-client SEO programs, turning strategy into actionable briefs and cross-functional delivery that drives visibility, traffic, and revenue across traditional, AI, and shopping surfaces.

  • Manage SEO activity across a portfolio of client accounts, taking ownership of planning, prioritisation, implementation and performance.
  • Act as the SEO lead for your clients, ensuring activity is aligned with their commercial goals and focused on the areas most likely to drive impact.
  • Create and manage SEO plans that span traditional organic search, AI search, SERP features, third-party visibility, organic shopping listings and other relevant search surfaces, then get these implemented.
  • Work closely with content, technical SEO and digital PR teams to turn strategy into clear actions and ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
  • Create clear briefs for content, technical and digital PR activity, making sure recommendations are practical, specific and commercially relevant.
  • Lead SEO-related client communication, including presenting insights, explaining recommendations, contributing to reports and supporting client meetings.
  • Monitor organic performance across your accounts, identifying trends, risks, issues and opportunities early.
  • Use data to understand what is working, what is not, and where activity needs to be adapted to improve results.
  • Support quarterly reviews and planning sessions by bringing forward clear performance insights, strategic recommendations and future opportunities.
  • Support the wider SEO team by sharing learnings, contributing to best practice, and helping improve how we deliver SEO across the agency.
  • Has proven experience managing SEO activity across multiple client accounts, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Understands how to build and implement commercially-focused SEO plans that improve visibility, traffic and revenue, not just rankings.
  • Can quickly understand a client’s business, including their products or services, commercial priorities, target audience, competitors and constraints.
  • Understands how search visibility works today, including traditional organic rankings, SERP features, AI search experiences, third-party pages, organic shopping listings and emerging search surfaces.
  • Can translate strategy into clear actions, priorities and briefs that content, technical SEO and digital PR teams can deliver against.
  • Is confident leading SEO conversations with clients, including presenting recommendations, explaining performance, answering questions and managing expectations.
  • Understands how digital PR supports SEO, including the role of links, brand mentions, authority, relevance and visibility across the wider search ecosystem.
  • Has strong analytical skills and can use data to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues and make clear recommendations.
  • Can produce / review SEO deliverables to a high standard, including keyword research, content briefs, on-page recommendations, technical checks and performance reports.
  • Is proactive, organised and commercially-minded, with the ability to manage competing priorities across several clients.
  • 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown. With each completed year of service, your base entitlement will increase by 1 day, up to a maximum of 33 days.
  • A £1,000 annual training budget to attend conferences and workshops or develop your skill set in another way.
  • An agency-wide wellness programme, private health cash plan, and access to mental health first aider support.
  • Encouragement and support to speak at industry events and write for leading publications.
  • Opportunities to represent the agency at awards events across the globe.
  • Flexible working, including remote, office-based or hybrid.
  • An enhanced maternity and paternity package.
  • The opportunity to work alongside an ambitious, supportive team that cares about doing great work and helping each other grow.
