Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SEO delivery for a portfolio of healthcare clients across the UK, Ireland and the US
• Implement changes directly in WordPress: on-page optimisation, technical fixes, schema markup, redirects and site structure
• Run technical audits and see the fixes through yourself or with our web team
• Build and execute content and local SEO strategies for multi-location providers
• Produce concise, decision-ready reporting for clients and internal stakeholders
• Work within healthcare advertising and regulatory constraints (ASA/CAP guidance, medical claims)
• Contribute to how we use AI and automation to improve SEO delivery

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, agency-side or in-house with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is strongly preferred
• Confident implementing in WordPress: comfortable in the CMS, common page builders and SEO plugins, with working knowledge of HTML/CSS; enough technical depth to make changes safely on live client sites
• Strong technical SEO: crawling, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals
• Confident with the standard toolset (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush/Screaming Frog or equivalents)
• Clear, concise communicator - you can explain what you did, why, and what it means in plain English
• Self-managing: able to own a client portfolio without daily direction

Preferred

• Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO workflows and answer-engine/LLM visibility
• Working knowledge of PPC fundamentals (not required as we have dedicated PPC leadership)
