Job Summary

Own the end-to-end social content development lifecycle, turning trends into platform-native storytelling while guiding teams and shaping campaigns that meet client objectives and creative ambitions.

  • Own end-to-end social content from concept through execution, across platforms, to drive engagement and brand impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into campaigns and client-ready storytelling.
  • Present work to clients and internal stakeholders, and advocate braver, more culturally resonant creative decisions.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ideating, scripting and storyboarding engaging social-first lo-fi content tailored to client objectives and platform audiences
  • Writing sharp, on-brand captions, hooks, reactive editorial copy and in-asset text that drives engagement and storytelling
  • Shooting and editing lo-fi content using lightweight production setups and mobile-first creative approaches
  • Staying ahead of social trends, platform updates and evolving audience behaviours to maintain cultural relevance
  • Creating compelling client presentations in Google Slides and PowerPoint to pitch concepts and communicate creative execution
  • Collaborating with creative, editorial, design, production, strategy and Client Services teams to deliver high-quality social content
  • Managing and mentoring small teams of community managers and social creatives
  • Ensuring all creative output aligns with brand guidelines and client objectives
  • Bringing strategic concepts to life in ways that elevate ideas and exceed expectations
  • Strong instinct for social trends, humour and platform-native storytelling

Requirements

  • Proven experience creating and managing social content, with a portfolio (ideally TikTok/Instagram-focused)
  • Strong passion for internet culture, including formats, communities and global trends
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing trends and client needs across markets
  • In-depth understanding of social platforms and how to optimise content for engagement
  • Passion for social media, brands and modern communication
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in fast-paced agency environments
  • Experience managing direct reports, with a focus on guidance and team development
