Job Summary

Own the global social engine to connect audience, content, and advocacy with business priorities, delivering credible market POV and measurable engagement.

  • Growth Infrastructure: Define global social strategy, cadence, audience segments, and KPI framework to drive engagement and outcomes.
  • Content Engine: Develop campaigns, series, and creator activations across formats and empower internal experts to amplify Nexford credibly.
  • Measurement & Optimization: Run experiments, generate actionable insights for brand, demand gen, and sales enablement, and build reusable prompts and workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own Nexford's global social strategy: audience, channel role, content pillars, cadence, and success metrics by market.
  • Partner with Growth, Brand, Product Marketing, and Leadership to connect social directly to business priorities.
  • Develop content concepts, campaigns, and recurring series that give Nexford a clear market POV.
  • Write and edit across formats — short-form video, thought leadership, founder content, newsletters, and campaign extensions.
  • Create content that earns saves, shares, and genuine conversation — not just reach.
  • Activate advocates, creators, alumni, learners, and internal experts who can amplify Nexford credibly.
  • Use AI tools (Claude, Perplexity, OpusClip, Descript, Runway, Midjourney) to accelerate research, ideation, repurposing, and reporting.
  • Build reusable prompts and workflows for the wider team — while keeping a strong editorial layer so the brand voice never sounds generic.
  • Define the KPIs that matter (engagement quality, saves, assisted conversion, sentiment) — not vanity metrics.
  • Run structured experiments and feed insights back into brand, demand gen, and sales enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in senior social or content marketing roles, with at least 2 years of strategic ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience building social strategies for B2C, edtech, SaaS, or mission-driven brands.
  • Strong writing and editorial instincts — you can spot a weak hook or "AI slop" immediately and fix it.
  • Hands-on with AI content tools — to go faster and sharper, not to replace judgment.
  • Comfort influencing across functions without direct authority.

Preferred

  • experience in higher education or adult-learner audiences
  • building executive thought leadership
  • managing creators or UGC
  • familiarity with the modern content stack (HubSpot, GA4, Sprout, Canva)

Benefits

  • Own something that matters. This is not an execution-only role. You will set the strategy, build the systems, and shape how a global audience understands and trusts Nexford.
  • Global scope, meaningful mission. Nexford is a modern online university built to expand access to quality education across the world — your work will reach learners in dozens of countries.
  • AI-forward by design. Nexford encourages intelligent use of AI tools to move faster and produce better work. You will have the freedom to build modern content operations, not maintain legacy processes.
  • Senior IC with a growth path. This role comes with real strategic ownership today and a clear potential path into people management as the team scales.
  • Work with a cross-functional team that moves fast. You will collaborate closely with Growth, Brand, Product Marketing, and Leadership — not operate in a silo.
