Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of channel specialists to drive Koinly’s inbound growth across written, video, social, and PR channels to set the narrative, write core brand copy, and turn crypto content into signups.
• You own the team’s operational rhythm, aggregate channel performance, and the quality of all output.
• Team leadership, line management & mentorship: Act as direct manager to our channel specialists (SEO, Video, Social, Technical Writing, Design). Unblock team members, set clear KPIs, provide direct feedback, and mentor the team to elevate their craft.
• Content operations & resource allocation: Oversee the editorial calendar and content pipeline. Manage resource allocation across design, video, and writing so your team fires on all cylinders without operational bottlenecks or multi-tier bureaucracy.
• Brand voice & editorial standards: Define, implement, and enforce Koinly’s tone of voice framework across all mediums (articles, scripts, emails, social posts), serving as the ultimate quality gate for team output.
• Aggregate channel performance: Drive total inbound growth, tracking content-driven signups and CAC across written, video, and social channels.
• Lifecycle & newsletter: Strategy and execution for email marketing, automated lifecycle campaigns, and newsletters.
• Product launch comms: Lead major product announcements, partner co-marketing copy, and release notes (with a PR agency).
• Hands-on player-coach writing: Lead from the front by personally writing high-impact copy, including landing page copy, key email sequences, PR comms, and opinionated brand pieces.

Requirements

• Web3 & crypto depth: Hands-on experience using Web3 wallets, DeFi platforms, or crypto exchanges
• Native / near-native English. Excellent written and verbal communication with a proven ability to write clear, persuasive, high converting copy.
• Proven growth content track record: Demonstrated experience building or scaling a product-led content engine in an early-stage, scaling, or founder-led environment (ideally in a B2C SaaS).
• Voice & editorial mastery: Ability to define, implement, and enforce a distinctive brand TOV across text, video scripts, and social platforms.
• Hands-on copywriting mastery: Strong portfolio featuring high-converting landing page copy, email sequences, educational guides, or brand messaging you drafted yourself.
• Operational rhythm & data literacy: Comfortable managing editorial pipelines and using analytics (GA4, search metrics, conversion data) to measure ROI and direct team resources.
• Multi-channel leadership: Proven ability to set strategy and align written, video, and social channels to drive aggregate organic growth, signups, and CAC.

Preferred

• Product-led SaaS experience: Past experience in fintech, tax, personal finance, or technical self-serve software platforms.
• Koinly familiarity: You’ve tested our crypto tax calculator, explored our guides, and can articulate what we do well and where our content opportunities lie.
