Responsibilities

• Start conversations, share the G&G story, and build genuine relationships with customers.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and authentic service that feels like us (never salesy).
• Drive email/newsletter sign-ups and loyalty opt-ins on the shop floor.
• Encourage social follows and UGC (with permission), and spotlight our latest drops and campaigns.
• Gather quick customer insights/feedback and pass them to the team.
• Offer styling tips and product advice; turn browsers into buyers while keeping the vibe positive.
• Maintain strong knowledge of current collections, restocks, sizes/fit, and online exclusives.
• Support store targets through great service, add-ons, and simple, helpful recommendations.
• Support visual merchandising to reflect the Goose & Gander aesthetic.
• Replenish stock and maintain presentation standards across the shop floor and fitting rooms.
• Assist with deliveries, stockroom organisation, and stock takes.
• Follow cash handling and till procedures accurately.
• Keep the environment clean, tidy, and safe at all times.

Requirements

• 1+ year retail experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays as required

Preferred

• Experience with email capture, loyalty, VM, or content creation
• Experience: Retail: 1 year (preferred)
