Job Description
We are currently looking for speakers of Egyptian Arabic, Iraqi Arabic, Syrian Arabic, or Jordanian Arabic to participate in a paid voice collection project called Viola to improve voice recognition technologies for virtual assistants. The compensation is $170 USD and will take only 2,5 hours to complete.
📌 What participants will do
Participants will take part in a recorded conversation with another person while wearing earbuds. The discussion is guided with prompts and designed to feel natural and engaging, covering everyday topics such as hobbies, shopping, weather, or general opinions.
👥 Join with a friend
This study is conducted in pairs, so members are encouraged to sign up with a friend, classmate, or partner. This makes the experience more enjoyable and both participants, each will receive a compensation of$170 USD upon successful completion. Participants who register with someone they know will be prioritized for scheduling.
✅ Eligibility requirements
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have idiomatic fluency in Arabic (Jordan), Arabic (Iraq), Arabic (Syria), or Arabic (Egypt).
- Be available to attend an onsite session in London.
- Be comfortable participating in a recorded conversation.
📍 Location & Duration
- The session lasts up to 2.5 hours
- It takes place at our centrally located office in London (full details shared upon selection confirmation).
💰 Compensation: Each participant will receive $170 USD for successful participation.
