Job Summary

Own end-to-end e-commerce and marketing content across website, email, social, and creative output, while coordinating with the Head of E-commerce and development teams to drive campaigns, performance and brand consistency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Website ● Update the website with new products, landing pages, collections, alt text and links ● Keep T&Cs, policies, discounts and dropship info current ● Support with setting up discounts, bundles and stock level updates ● Help maintain SKU codes and coffee tags ● Write and publish blog content ● Support the Head of E-commerce and developers on web development requests Email ● Build and schedule email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo, from brief to send ● Write copy that's on-brand. Focused on awareness, education and fun! ● Support A/B testing and basic segmentation ● Pull together email performance reporting Social Media ● Create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other channels ● Support the monthly/quarterly content plan set by the Head of E-commerce ● Produce ad-hoc content and respond to trends and moments ● Help maintain a consistent brand voice and presence across all platforms Creative ● Design graphics for social, email, print and in-café POS using Canva (static, stories, simple animations) ● Support with coffee cards, labels and print materials for cafés, roastery and events ● Help build creative assets for paid media campaigns ● Work within brand guidelines, flagging anything that needs external design support Reporting & Insights ● Support with data pulls for wider marketing and commercial reporting ● Flag trends and opportunities to the Head of E-commerce to inform planning Subscriptions ● Support with the subscription platform’s banner images, comms and layout updates ● Help ensure subscription plans, bundles and gifting are set up and working correctly Wider Support ● Support events, trade shows and PR activity with assets and logistics as needed ● Support with local marketing for the Small Batch Cafes ● Support B2B/wholesale marketing with email content and sales collateral ● General ad-hoc support for the Head of E-commerce across marketing projects

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in an e-commerce or D2C marketing role
  • Confident designing in Canva. Able to turn a brief into a polished, on-brand graphic quickly
  • Strong understanding of social media; what works on each platform and how to create for it
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple small projects and deadlines at once
  • Commuting distance to our Roastery in Portslade. Please note this role is mainly on-site with one working day at home.

Preferred

  • Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify or Recharge
  • Experience with paid media
  • Experience in food, drink or DTC consumer brands
  • A genuine interest in coffee and hospitality
