Job Description

Responsibilities

  • creating, planning and delivering consumer marketing campaigns across digital and print, working closely with authors, agents and brand partners to ensure our books find their audiences.
  • aim to secure suitable brand partnerships that help maximise visibility of our titles
  • will closely with our Group Marketing team on paid advertising that drives book sales.
  • lead on your own seasonal campaigns that help sustain sales for our backlist titles.
  • develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Editorial, Publicity, Design and Sales and will regularly communicate marketing plans across the business.
  • pay close attention to budgets, and will consistently look for new and exciting ways to promote books, engage retailers, and reach new readers.
  • In this role you'll collaborate closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Publicity as well as Sales and Editorial, always thinking about how to make a campaign truly effective, from initial ideas and planning through to reporting and reflecting on results.
  • You'll have experience in both organic and paid for social media, and you'll be familiar with some basic digital design tools.
  • You'll be able to multi-task across a wide range of campaigns, and able to prioritise and manage your time in order to deliver your work on time and within budget.
  • You'll have excellent communications skills and be comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
