Job Summary

Own multi-channel marketing for an education portfolio, turning campaigns into learner acquisition and brand reach across channels.

  • Content & Campaign Delivery: Lead multi-channel campaigns and communications for Petty Pool Education and broader education initiatives.
  • Audience & Assets: Collaborate with education teams on brand-aware campaigns; produce newsletters, copy, and Canva visuals for the customer journey.
  • Channel Ops and Asset Production: Maintain the website, social channels, and house-style collateral; manage data in the CRM and run digital campaigns with measurement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement engaging multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns to raise the profile and reach of Petty Pool, in particular, Petty Pool Education.
  • Work with the education team to develop marketing campaigns and activity to increase brand awareness, reach and learner acquisition.
  • Write, design and issue regular newsletters using MailChimp alongside the comms team, and develop marketing materials for service users at each stage of the customer journey.
  • Work with website developer to develop and maintain the Petty Pool website.
  • Support the delivery of a strategic social media presence and undertake day-to-day management of Petty Pool social media channels.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Petty Pool’s activities, its learners, members, and stakeholders.
  • Write accurate, engaging, and targeted copy for different audiences across a range of channels in line with our brand voice.
  • Create social media graphics, banners and content using Canva.
  • Support the design and production of marketing, communication and event materials ensuring consistent house style, branding, and layout.
  • Be a proactive and hands-on member of a growing marketing and communications team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • experience in a marketing/communications role
  • Skills in online media and SEO
  • use of design and digital communication tools to create and monitor effective content
  • ability to work effectively in a diverse team
  • prioritise workloads and tasks
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Strong level of IT literacy
  • Awareness of communications principles and how to apply them to meet objectives
  • Ability to communicate in an accessible and clear manner through a variety of formats
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with and use of social media and digital content making tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organisation and with other stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills, with ability to cope with a full and varied workload, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Positive and collaborative attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to help themselves and others achieve goals
  • Experience of running and evaluating fundraising initiatives including digital campaigns

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly desired
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with experience in a marketing/communications role is strongly desired
