Job Summary

Own the marketing and commercial engine for religious travel, turning market insights into multi-channel campaigns, smart pricing, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue and growth.

  • Growth & Partnerships: Develop and nurture supplier and travel-industry partnerships to expand reach and offerings.
  • Campaign & Analytics: Plan digital, social, PR, and community campaigns with data-driven optimization.
  • Strategy & Alignment: Collaborate with operations, sales, and product to ensure marketing activities support business goals and profitability.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, PR, and community engagement.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance profitability.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with suppliers, including airlines, hotels, tourist boards, and cruise lines.
  • Manage and monitor the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and product teams to align marketing activities with business goals.
  • Mentor and support junior marketing staff and coordinate external agencies when required.
  • Represent Madina Travel at industry events, exhibitions, and local community functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing, business development, or commercial management within the travel or tourism sector
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and customer acquisition strategies
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Canva, Meta Business Suite)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for travel and cultural tourism

Preferred

  • Familiarity with multicultural and multilingual marketing approaches
  • Understanding of B2B and B2C partnership development
