Job Summary

Own the social content and course promotion across web and newsletter channels with hands on creation, event media capture, and clear, compliant messaging.

  • Social and content ownership: manage channels, craft concise messages, and support SEO informed web content.
  • Asset creation and events: produce images/videos for courses, assist with workshops, and capture media for promotion.
  • Delivery and governance: coordinate with Marketing Manager, ensure GDPR safeguarding, and maintain high detail in copy and proofreading.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and paid ads
  • Write and upload content to the website
  • Collate information for monthly newsletters
  • Create images/videos and promote courses, workshops and events
  • Support with workshops/events and capture photos/videos
  • Ensure messaging is concise and clear across social media with excellent written communication
  • Proofread content to a high standard with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with Communications & Marketing Manager and another Marketing Assistant
  • Ensure SEO understanding is applied to website content where possible
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of marketing experience
  • Experience of social media, paid ads, email marketing, copywriting and asset creation
  • High level of attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
  • Confident communicator with excellent IT skills
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience posting to social media channels
  • Experience scheduling paid ads across Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience creating images/videos for digital content
  • Understanding of GDPR
  • Has a driving licence and access to own transport and able to travel to locations

Preferred

  • Experience writing web copy, including an understanding of SEO
  • Experience of email marketing, building and maintaining email lists, writing newsletters
