Job Summary

Lead teaching and curriculum design in Media & Film while sustaining a strong research profile and contributing to inclusive, internationally oriented education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

  • Own module delivery across undergrad and postgrad, supervise research projects, and shape curriculum design.
  • Maintain active research that enhances the School’s strengths and collaborates on creativity and diversity initiatives.
  • Engage with university-wide initiatives to broaden international perspectives in Film and Media education.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules, supervise research projects, contribute to curriculum design, maintain an active research profile, and engage with initiatives promoting creativity, diversity, and international perspectives within Film and Media education.

Requirements

  • PhD with a film and media studies background (not production/practice-based) and awareness of evolving media ecology and diverse audience engagement.
  • Developing research profile with quality outputs; collegial, student-focused, and committed to collaborative, inclusive, and academically excellent culture within the School.

Preferred

  • Eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
