Job Summary

Own the in-store and content-driven retail experience for a pop-up skincare brand, balancing hands-on customer care with product storytelling and content creation to lift sales and awareness.

Customer Experience & Product Guidance: shape shopper journeys, tailor recommendations, and drive repeat visits.
Merchandising & Ops: maintain visuals, stock, and synchronization with marketing activity to boost conversions.
Content & Social: create photography, video, and written content from daily activity to support in-store and online engagement.

Proactively engage with customers, identify their skincare needs and confidently recommend suitable products.
Build customer confidence through product knowledge and personalised skincare advice.
Maximise sales opportunities through excellent product recommendations and complementary product suggestions where appropriate.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash and card payment accurately, following company cash handling and till reconciliation procedures.
Contribute towards achieving retail sales targets and business objectives.
Respond to customer enquiries, both in person and through written and verbal communication channels, in a professional, timely and helpful manner.
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and presentation throughout the store.
Replenish stock and ensure products are attractively displayed.

GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics at Grade C/Grade 4 or above.
Educated to degree level in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant knowledge and experience.
Experience using Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite or similar digital platforms.
Experience working within a small independent business or start-up environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent IT skills, with the ability to confidently use and quickly learn a range of digital systems and software.
Creative, proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to identify opportunities to support business growth.
Ability to work within agreed budgets and timescales, making effective use of available resources.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and changing priorities.
Ability to build rapport with customers and confidently recommend suitable products.
