Job Summary

Own and optimize paid media across Meta and Google for multiple venues, manage audiences, tracking, reporting, and on-site collaboration to drive ticketed activity and events.

  • Own and manage campaigns across Meta and Google for multiple venues
  • Align objectives to conversions/purchases and relevant traffic for delivery with clear justification
  • Provide weekly performance summaries and collaborate with venue teams

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads for all venues, including Amazing Grace and The Dial
  • Set campaign objectives correctly against the actual goal — Purchase/Conversions for ticketed or bookable activity, Traffic only where genuinely appropriate — and be able to justify the choice
  • Build and manage audience strategy: interest targeting, lookalikes, retargeting/warm audiences, and Advantage+ settings, kept in structured, separated ad sets rather than blended together
  • Plan and manage always-on campaigns (Hero, After Work, What's On) alongside time-limited campaigns (seasonal events, ticketed nights, sports fixtures)
  • Manage daily/weekly budget pacing across venues and campaigns, reallocating spend toward what's converting
  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking — Meta Pixel, Conversions API, UTM tagging — including working with third-party ticketing platforms (e.g. Tonic/DesignMyNight) to get sales data back into the loop wherever technically possible
  • Brief the Social Media/Content role on creative needs per campaign, ensuring each active ad set has enough distinct assets (aim for 5–10) to avoid ad fatigue and give Meta's algorithm room to optimise
  • Launch, monitor and optimise live campaigns daily — pausing underperformers, scaling what works, adjusting targeting and bids in real time
  • Manage Google Ads presence for major campaigns (currently missing entirely for event-based activity)
  • Coordinate timing so campaigns for date-locked, capacity-capped events (Oktoberfest-style activations) are front-loaded with urgency and enough runway, rather than spread thin evenly

Requirements

  • Proven experience running Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads independently — not just briefing an agency, hands-on platform experience
  • Solid understanding of campaign objectives and when to use Traffic vs. Conversions/Purchase, and why it matters for delivery
  • Experience building and separating audience types correctly: interest-based, lookalike, and retargeting
  • Experience with pixel/Conversions API setup and troubleshooting, and familiarity with UTM-based tracking for platforms that can't share pixel data (e.g. third-party ticketing)
  • Strong Excel/reporting skills — comfortable building a clear, honest performance view without hiding behind vanity metrics
  • Hospitality, F&B, or multi-venue/multi-brand experience strongly preferred
  • Confident presenting numbers and recommendations directly to senior leadership
  • Highly organised and comfortable owning a budget across multiple, simultaneous campaigns
