Job Summary

Own the events and communications program for the Law School, balancing high volume event production with strategic storytelling for audiences across academia and administration.

  • Responsibilities: lead planning and delivery of 200 plus annual events and craft top-tier communications, while guiding a team of events and communications professionals and tying activity to data-driven strategy.
  • Scope: collaborate with academic and professional leads to design, plan, and execute high quality content that elevates the Law School’s profile.
  • Impact: collect and review event data to shape future activity and influence the School’s strategic direction.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own events planning, delivery, and creative communications output for the Law School.
  • Lead a team of events and communications professionals, assigning work and ensuring delivery quality.
  • Gather data on event impact to review success and inform strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have significant experience of managing engaging and impactful events in a Higher Education setting, as well as experience of marketing and communications in the HE sector.
  • Line management experience is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • The ability to present ideas and proposals to influence peers and senior colleagues
  • Drive, determination and resilience to perform consistently and under pressure to the highest levels of service delivery
