The Senior Communications and Events officer will own the Faculty’s communications and events strategy, driving integrated campaigns, content creation across news, case studies, videos, social and email, and delivering the annual high‑profile events. Key workstreams include campaigns, content production, and event delivery.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Communications and Events officer support the development, and lead the execution, of the Faculty communications and events strategy which aims to raise awareness and reputation of the faculty and its departments as a leading hub for research and education in public health.
  • They will: Implement integrated communications campaigns that drive awareness of the Faculty’s research and education portfolio to a range of audiences.
  • Take ownership of creating and executing engaging content including news, case studies, videos, social media and email.
  • Lead on delivering the annual series of high-profile Faculty events.

Requirements

  • You will have experience in creating high-quality, creative and strategically focussed communications content across a variety of formats and channels.
  • You will have significant experience in planning and delivering in person and online events, ensuring an excellent experience for guests.
  • You will have exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate highly complex content into engaging and newsworthy stories.
