Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of and execute on a global enablement strategy for event technologies, aligning with overall business objectives and the sales or marketing strategy.
  • Content & Training: Create, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training materials, including online, self-paced content, presentations, and other enablement resources for internal teams.
  • Technology Management: Manage the overall delivery and enablement of the event technology track to align with global standards and regional variations.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure successful deployment and integration of event technology products.
  • Data & Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs and event technology, utilizing data to optimize processes and future events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Event Technology Team, and event production, to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive digital attendee experience.
  • Project Management: Lead projects for the development and deployment of event technology and enablement programs, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Innovation: Research and present innovative ideas and emerging technologies, such as AI tools, to enhance the attendee experience and improve event operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in professional non-internship marketing
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience optimizing for short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities
  • Experience in program or project management including the delivery of cross-functional projects
  • Experience in event technology: Strong understanding of event apps, registration platforms, and the broader event tech stack

Preferred

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact and influence effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, embrace change, and adapt to new technologies.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of how event technology supports broader business objectives like lead generation and revenue growth.
