Job Summary

Own the marketing tech runtime for channel portals and content systems with a focus on GDPR compliant data handling, platform updates, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Channel and content ops: own the marketing side of the Channel Portal, PIM, content syndication, and automation tool coordination.
  • Platform governance: collect requirements, document processes, and escalate issues to IT or vendors to keep programs moving.
  • Knowledge and training: maintain docs and runbooks while helping teams build system confidence and adopt new tools.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the marketing-side point of contact for operational matters related to the Channel Portal, PIM, content syndication, and automation tools.
  • Collect and document functional requirements from marketing teams and communicate these effectively to IT or external vendors.
  • Support the implementation of platform updates and improvements by coordinating with IT and ensuring marketing alignment.
  • Provide first-level support and act as a poin of escalation for complex user issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, usage guides and training materials for internal users.
  • Assist in monitoring license usage, system performance and procurement processes.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to internal data handling protocols.
  • Contribute to project workstreams in coordination with the E-Marketing Systems Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of content management for European content within the Channel Portal.
  • Act as central webmaster by supporting local marketing teams in the creation of local web pages within the corporate CMS.

Requirements

  • Good experience working with digital marketing tools or platforms (e.g. CMS, PIM, DAM, automation systems, syndication tools).
  • Good technical understanding and interest in marketing technology.
  • Experience in user support, platform administration or system testing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow structured processes.
  • Understanding of basic data governance and GDPR compliance principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, experience with ticketing or task management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello) is beneficial.
  • Organised and structured way of working, with the ability to multitask across projects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Systems or similar field preferred.
  • Experience working in an international and/or matrix organisation is a plus.
