Job Summary

Own social media and PR execution for an art-focused audience, turning campaigns into brand-aligned engagement with a strong emphasis on content, scheduling, and analytics.

  • Social Channel Ownership: Lead end-to-end campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and other spaces with branding alignment.
  • Content & Engagement Ops: Manage content creation, scheduling, posting, and timely engagement across channels.
  • Analytics & Leadership Alignment: Measure performance, report insights, and coordinate with Directors to steer strategy and PR outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive social media campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Expand our prescence in other digital spaces.
  • Manage content creation, scheduling, and posting to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics and generate reports to optimise future marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Directors to align social media content with organisational goals and branding guidelines.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with the public through effective public relations initiatives on social platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital social media management and digital marketing within a professional setting.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the art market in Edinburgh.
  • Gallery experience or similar arts/culture background.
  • Willingness to help in other day-to-day activities of the business.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored for different audiences.
  • Ability to analyse data insights and communicate this to Directors.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
