The Digital Content Editor will play a key role in shaping how the Mayor of London and the Greater London Authority communicate with diverse audiences.
This role is responsible for creating and editing engaging, audience-focused content across digital channels, translating strategic priorities into impactful messages. By championing best practices in digital content strategy and accessibility, the Digital Content Editor ensures that campaigns are effective, inclusive, and aligned with the GLA's goals.
This position is vital for maintaining the clarity, tone, and effectiveness of the Mayor's digital communications, helping to deliver timely, high-quality content across social media, email, and emerging platforms. The role also contributes to integrated marketing efforts, optimising the use of data and analytics to achieve campaign success. By managing projects, guiding junior staff, and collaborating across teams, the Digital Content Editor ensures that the GLA remains at the forefront of digital communications.

GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
