Responsibilities

  • Are you a communications and engagement specialist with bags of creative flair for developing imaginative publicity campaigns?
  • Are you social media ‘savvy’, with great writing skills and with a background in journalism, media/public relations or digital content development?
  • We’re looking for an experienced and talented communications professional to join our small but busy team.
  • Here at Hertsmere it’s an exciting time for us with new, resident-centred policies being shaped, involving wide-reaching engagement with our many communities.
  • You’d need to be flexible and diplomatic but assertive, innovative and politically astute.
  • You’ll also be skilled and experienced at engaging with a range of audiences, both internally and externally, through different communication channels.
  • We’ve made great progress recently with developing our video content and other digital products so this needs to be part of your skill set, although further training and consultancy is available.

Requirements

  • a background in journalism, media/public relations or digital content development

Preferred

  • flexible and diplomatic but assertive, innovative and politically astute
  • experience with video content and other digital products
