  • Collaborate on marketing plans for key activities, launches, and lead generation to expand reach.
  • Coordinate member communications, newsletters, and content updates across channels and CRM.

Job Description

Own the full social-and-comms rhythm for Ukie, turning events, newsletters, and on-brand content into consistent reach across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Bluesky, while partnering with teams to plan campaigns, capture on-ground content, and drive member engagement.

  • Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of Ukie's social media channels, including LinkedIn, Bluesky and YouTube.
  • Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling content in line with Ukie’s communications calendar and wider campaigns
  • Responsibilities: Writing compelling, on-brand copy suited to each platform and its audience
  • Responsibilities: Monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and reporting on channel performance
  • Responsibilities: Identifying opportunities to grow Ukie’s presence and reach new audiences
  • Responsibilities: Attending Ukie events and industry conferences to support communications activity
  • Responsibilities: Capturing content on the ground, including written updates and social media posts
  • Responsibilities: Photography and basic photo editing at events (desirable — see below)
  • Responsibilities: Work with individual project/activity leads to develop and deploy marketing plans for key activities, launches etc.
  • Responsibilities: Work across the team to build Ukie’s impact and reach through lead generation and key account management
  • Requirements: Proven experience managing social media channels in a professional context, ideally including LinkedIn
  • Requirements: Excellent written English with the ability to write clearly, accurately and engagingly for different audiences
  • Requirements: Experience writing or editing newsletters or email communications
  • Requirements: Experience with social media channel management
  • Requirements: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Requirements: Comfortable uploading and managing content via a CMS or similar platform
  • Requirements: A collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Requirements: Enthusiasm for the games and interactive entertainment industry, or a willingness to learn quickly
  • Requirements: Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Lightroom, or similar
  • Nice-to-have: Photography skills and the ability to edit images for digital and social use
  • Nice-to-have: Experience working in a trade association, membership organisation or similar environment
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of the UK games or creative industries landscape
