Responsibilities

Set and enforce editorial standards across the Global Content Chapter, giving direct feedback that sharpens ideas and cuts unnecessary revision rounds
Review, edit and approve copy across campaigns, social, CRM, retail and sales, making sure every piece is on brand and commercially clear
Build and evolve the verbal identity system: tone of voice guidelines, messaging hierarchies, approved terminology and channel specific guidance
Partner with Design, Marketing, Product and regional teams to turn briefs into clear creative direction for internal writers and freelancers
Brief, manage and quality control freelance copywriters and external agencies to protect brand integrity in outsourced work
Evaluate AI writing tools and set standards for their responsible use, so the team works efficiently without losing quality or distinctiveness

Requirements

Hold a portfolio that demonstrates distinctive, commercially effective writing across brand, campaign and digital formats, not just competent copy
Have personally defined, documented and enforced a tone of voice across a complex organisation, rather than simply contributing to someone else's guidelines
Strong knowledge of content strategy beyond execution: building messaging hierarchies and editorial frameworks that others can follow
Experience giving direct, constructive feedback that raises the standard of a content team's output over time
Comfort moving between strategic work (standards, systems) and hands on execution when a piece needs senior creative judgement to get it over the line
