Job Summary

Own the retention engine for email and SMS using Klaviyo, Substack, and acquisition tactics to drive repeat revenue and strong lifecycle health.

  • Klaviyo driven lifecycle management, automated flows, audits, and data hygiene to lift engagement and revenue.
  • Content and channel expansion including Substack content, pop‑ups, and printed communications to deepen subscriber value.
  • Measurement and optimization across attribution, open/click rates, flow performance, and win back improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, write, build and execute weekly email and SMS campaigns
  • Create engaging, high-converting written content aligned with brand tone of voice
  • Develop and optimise automated customer flows and retention journeys
  • Take ownership of building, developing, and improving Klaviyo as a core retention platform
  • Set up, launch, and manage our Substack, including generating regular content for the channel
  • Build and test pop-up forms and subscriber acquisition strategies
  • Coordinate printed marketing communications for loyalty subscribers and campaigns
  • Own the email and SMS marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are approved at least two weeks in advance
  • Analyse campaign performance including attributed revenue, open rates, click-through rates, flow performance, and conversion metrics
  • Run A/B testing programmes to continuously improve engagement and revenue performance

Requirements

  • Klaviyo experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience using the platform day to day.
  • Demonstrable experience in email marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or content marketing is essential.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategy
  • Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to improve results
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
