Job Summary

Own a hands-on, multi-channel comms role that blends social content, media relations, and press office tasks for a hospitality group.

  • Social & Content Engine: manage TikTok/Instagram, align with the content calendar, and craft copy and visuals.
  • Media Relations & Reporting: build media contacts, pitch stories, monitor coverage, and prepare director-level updates.
  • Web, Assets & Stakeholder Support: keep listings and docs current and back the comms and marketing leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Social media and content creation – particularly TikTok and Instagram, in line with the content calendar and strategy
  • Newsletter creation and email marketing support
  • Monitoring and evaluating media (traditional, digital and social) coverage, press and marketing report creation and monthly meeting notes for the directors
  • Copywriting and visual asset design
  • Press office function, dealing with image and info requests and incoming enquiries.
  • Keeping websites, online listings, and in-house documents up to date
  • Building your own network of media and industry contacts
  • Pitching stories to press contacts in line with the PR strategy
  • Proactively staying abreast of the changing media landscape and industry developments
  • Support a comms and marketing manager and the comms and marketing director

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a high-quality and Hospitality focused Communications agency or Restaurant Group.
  • Social media and content creation – particularly TikTok and Instagram, in line with the content calendar and strategy
  • Newsletter creation and email marketing support
  • Monitoring and evaluating media (traditional, digital and social) coverage, press and marketing report creation and monthly meeting notes for the directors
  • Copywriting and visual asset design
  • Press office function, dealing with image and info requests and incoming enquiries.
