Job Summary

Own and drive cross-channel communications for an energy-policy initiative, turning audience insight and behavioural science into targeted messaging and engagement with senior stakeholders, while setting KPIs to measure impact across community and policy channels.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Shape audience maps, segmentation, and messaging strategy for senior stakeholders and affected communities.
  • Delivery and measurement: Plan multi-channel implementation and establish KPIs to monitor effectiveness of engagement and policy communications.

Job Description

  • You will develop and deliver a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy aligned to the scheme’s objectives, using audience insight and behavioural science to inform your approach.
  • Working collaboratively with the Delivery and Schemes directorate, Ofgem’s central communications teams, and DESNZ, you will help ensure messaging is clear, consistent and effective across all channels.
  • The role includes shaping stakeholder mapping and audience segmentation, developing targeted messaging, and supporting engagement activity such as workshops, forums and senior stakeholder sessions.
  • You will contribute to implementation planning across multiple channels, including community engagement and wider stakeholder communications, and play a key role in establishing metrics and KPIs to monitor and evaluate communications activity.
