Job Summary

Own CenTax’s external footprint by shaping the events calendar and delivering evidence-based policy communications for academic, policy, and public audiences.

  • Events and Stakeholder Engagement: Own end-to-end events from planning to evaluation and run a seminar series and roundtables for senior policy audiences.
  • Communications and Reputation: Produce clear, evidence-based messages that position CenTax as a trusted voice in tax policy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear, engaging communications that showcase CenTax’s research and strengthen its reputation as a trusted voice in evidence-based tax policy.
  • Take ownership of a varied and high-profile events programme, delivering seminars, workshops, conferences and roundtables for academic, policy and public audiences.
  • Manage events end-to-end – from planning and promotion through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Coordinate a seminar series, support major conferences, and deliver roundtables for senior policy stakeholders.

Requirements

  • experience of planning and delivering events for external audiences.
  • experience managing websites (ideally using a CMS such as WordPress).
  • running organisational social media accounts, and using analytics to monitor performance and improve impact.
  • experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Canva and email marketing platforms (e.g. MailChimp).
  • excellent written English and a sharp eye for detail.

Preferred

  • A good understanding of the UK policy and media landscape is desirable.
