Job Summary

Own and coordinate multi-channel communications and stakeholder engagement for a national programme, turning grant stories and milestones into visible impact while partnering with policy, media, and sector networks.

  • Impact & Stakeholder Engagement: plan and execute proactive communications across events, press, and social channels.
  • Content & Storytelling: develop case studies, newsletters, and web content from grant-holder experiences and learning.
  • Relationships & Visibility: build sector partnerships and media relationships to amplify programme outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead on communications activity for Dormant Assets NI, including regular funding announcements and milestones, ensuring messages reach audiences through appropriate channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sector bodies, networks and specialist media, amplifying awareness across the organisation.
  • Plan and deliver grant-holder and learning events (in-person and virtual) with Dormant Assets NI and NI Customer Engagement teams.
  • Lead announcements and handle press requests with the Fund’s media team, contributing to reactive communications as needed.
  • Develop impact-focused content (case studies, newsletters, web content) to demonstrate outcomes and learning.
  • Plan, write and schedule social media to promote Dormant Assets funding, impact and learning.
  • Gather stories, quotes and visual content from grant holders, including site visits to supported organisations.
  • Liaise with the Department of Finance, Reclaim Fund and partners to support programme visibility and stakeholder communications.
  • Contribute to reporting and accountability, including quarterly updates for the Reclaim Fund and documenting project summaries in internal CMS systems.
  • Collaborate with Policy and Engagement colleagues to support meaningful engagement with the voluntary and community sector.
